Prince Georoge Open 2026

A commemorative championship medal designed around a sense of place rather than typical judo iconography, no gi ties or fighting silhouettes, as the client requested. The concept centers on a lone bull moose standing on a rocky ridge beneath the northern lights, framed by a spruce forest, capturing the northern British Columbia landscape in sculpted gold relief. The aurora is rendered in polished sweeps against a matte sky so the light genuinely reads on metal, with "Prince George Open" set in an engraved serif and script flourish for a premium feel. I carried the northern lights motif onto the ribbon as well, using a blue to magenta gradient with stylized aurora peaks, so the medal becomes a lasting memento of the time athletes spent competing in Prince George.
